Noteworthy
Wandsworth Music aim to inspire enjoyment and excellence in music, in all its forms, and are committed, through our partnerships with schools and arts organisations to bring a rich diversity of high quality music experiences to our young people, both in and out of the classroom.
We teach more than 7,000 young people each year, providing young musicians with the opportunity to learn instruments and sing, participate in bands, choirs and orchestras and progress to the next level of musical excellence.
Our young musicians are able to perform in an exciting and varied schedule of concerts and events throughout the year, including opportunities to work alongside some of the best musicians in the world.
Recently our young musicians have worked alongside world renowned members of the Philharmonia Orchestra and The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and Jazz saxophonist and composer, Josephine Davies, Winner of the Jazz instrumentalist of the year at the 2019 Parliamentary Jazz Awards.
We regularly perform at world renowned venues such as the Royal Festival Hall, Royal Albert Hall, Wimbledon Tennis Championships, Hideaway Jazz Club, Fairfield Halls, and on overseas concert tours.
Put simply, we are passionate about getting outstanding music education to kids!
